The DA-F1 X-band medium-range phased array radar features a fully solid-state, fully coherent, pulse-Doppler architecture, delivering all-weather effective detection and early warning capabilities against Low, Small, and Slow (LSS) targets. Incorporating machine learning and AI-driven identification technologies based on micro-Doppler signatures and track characteristics, the system ensures the reliable detection, classification, and identification of LSS targets—including UAVs, light aircraft, helicopters, powered hang gliders, airships, and free-floating balloons—while maintaining an extremely low false alarm rate.
